Albion Online Shrines And Chests & more
as you probably are aware, we're currently focussing on the preparations for our Closed Beta. If you haven't seen our roadmap yet, you should check it out here. In addition to those bullet points, we want to give you an update on what we've been working on for when the Closed Beta starts.
1. Sneak-Peek of the Week
For this week we have an outlook on how a village of the Keepers might look like:
2. „Best Indie MMO at gamescom“ Award (MMOGAMES.COM)
We have already told you of our experience at gamescom 2015. We were very happy and proud to learn that Albion Online received mmogames.com's award for the „Best Indie MMO at gamescom 2015“. Thanks to the mmogames team for visiting at our gamescom booth and the awesome award!
3. The Shrines of Albion
The first new feature we want to tell you about are what we call shrines.
Shrines are open world crafting stations and will be crucial in crafting enchanted gear in the future. They will come in three different sizes (small, medium, large) and three different colors (red, green and blue). The color determines whether that shrine is used for offensive, defensive or support items and the size has an influence on the maximum item level you will be able to craft.
Did we mention that the larger shrines will be heavily guarded? You better bring some support.
And just to give you an idea what they will look like, a concept sample:
4. Treat Yourself with Treasure
The second new thing we want to show you are treasure chests.
Those treasure chests are placed all around the world and also come in three different sizes called locker, chest, and coffer. The bigger the treasure, the more dangerous it will be to get to, with the largest ones being placed inside castles. Once a chest has been looted, it will be put on a cooldown. This cooldown can be seen from the world map, so you will know when to prepare to fight for them.
Expect heavy resistance from other loot hunters who will also try to secure their contents: relics needed for high tier crafting and silver.

Runescape and Albion Online actually have similar leveling systems
Albion Online is similar to Runescape in the ways you seem to like Runescape. You can do whatever you want in Albion Online

Albion Online Spell Indicators
I think just about anyone that uses anything with a skill shot can show you this. If you shoot a skill shot your character will take a small stutter step in that direction. What used to be an instant cast skill shot is now a .5s delayed skill that forces to to run in unwanted directions.

Improve my enjoyment of the Albion Online
Sometimes it's the little things that make a big difference. Here are some of the "little things" that would improve my enjoyment of the albion

A few questions about Albion Online, will help you play in Albion
All founder packs give you at least 30 days premium. That does not mean that on release the packs will keep the 30 days. Probably it will be removed. But yes, at least in this last beta it has been easy to pay the premium with ingame money. Depends on the time you have. My advice it to get into the game ASAP to start finding out what this game is about. You will be lost at the begining and need to learn basic stuff that will speed you up once released.

New -2 Tier Fame Requirements
Currently the best path to take progression wise is to rush to t4.3, as you are on a t6-7 equivalency while still being able to kill t4 monsters to achieve that gear power.

My Personal Albion Online Beta Experience
You don't need to craft, as long as you understand that you will be limited to the gear that most players are crafting as your "daily driver" and you can play the entire game in a combat role while being useful to a guild/team.
