Hey everyone! So personally I love these sorts of games, the whole "be the best of them all" sorta feel. Getting Tier 10 gear and fighting the most epic boss, then going into battle with your pony and making the enemies drop dead of shear fear as you trample them with your rage. Of course.. humble beginnings. Starting from the lowest of the low makes it feel way more accomplishing once you get there, and personally: That's what makes games feel so memorable. The Destiny Board seems to be the key I'm lacking knowledge of though, and was wondering if anyone knew some answers to these questions:
Does the Destiny Board get harder to progress through as you get further away from the middle?
Are you only allowed to be "destined" to one path, or can you in theory master all the paths?
For certain gear or items; do you have to be a certain amount through the Destiny board to be able to equip or use them?
Out of curiosity, do you know how long (In general (without using Albion Online gold)) it takes to get to the end of a path?
Do you need to spend Albion Online Silver/ Albion Online Gold to continue on a path?
Are the objectives on the bottom of the screen while playing; Destinies that you can follow?
Is this a lot of questions?
Is the Destiny Board going to expand any further than it is expanded to right now?
Will the Destiny Board be viewable by other players? (Important information for recruiting)
How is the use of Albion Online Gold implemented into the Destiny Board; if at all.
Can you change where your destiny points have been placed?
The thing about the Destiny Board, is that it seems like an amazing concept and something that has a lot of potential, but can hinder my playing experience depending on how it works. And what I mean by that is for instance lets say I don't know what I want to do (Because I don't :b), so I start farming.. then I'm like "Na being a swordsmen would be cool" so I start crafting swords; then think "Maybe using these swords would be cool". All of the sudden I have 3 paths created; Farming, Crafting, and Fighting. If the Destiny Board only allows for a certain amount of "points" lets say, so I wouldn't be able to become the best of the best farmer because I starting gathering or crafting or fighting, then that would hinder my experience a lot, cause then I'd be incapable of having the potential of becoming one of the greatest farmers on the planet. A work around that I guess is if you'd be able to transfer your "experience" as a part swordsmen into being the best farmer, but that'd basically be deleting hours of my life essentially. Taking away something I spent time on so I could spend more time upgrading that one I really want to be good at. I love tanking; it's great being the bulk of the team charging in without stopping. I love bow&arrows, it's so stealthy you can assassinate someone almost instantaneously. I love healing, being able to save people so they can live moments longer in life. I'd love crafting, so people out there can fight knowing their equipment is of the highest quality! I'd love to farm too, just to be that folk in the country helping everyone out in them dangerous places. I want to do it all! And it'll be unfortunate if I'm not able to.... That's my biggest concern anyways. The other ones are touch base and go--like "Does the Destiny Board get harder to progress through as you get further away from the middle?", It'd be awesome if it does, it shows you've spent time and dedication to what you want to be in this brilliant world. I have a plenty more questions, but those are for other threads xD Hope to see you guys raid my equipment.
