Knowing About Gathering In Albion Online

Gathering is a huge part of Albion Online and we know that as the game is now live there are more players than ever! For a new player though it can be kind of hard to know what to do when it comes to gathering. Well do not worry as today we are looking at a few simple gathering ideas that are going to help you out as you start your Albion Online journey!

Knowing About Gathering In Albion Online

Gathering Is Essential

The first thing you have to understand about gathering in Albion Online is that it is absolutely essential. Everything you need in this game is made by materials that are crafted in the game which is done so from items that are gathered! It is essentially what is going to drive the game forward.

Know The Materials

There are five different kinds of materials that you will be gathering. Fiber, Ore, Hide, Stone, and Wood. Each of these has different sub materials that you can collect. Some are very common and some are super rare, like so rare, wars will be waged in areas that are rich in a particular resource!

You have To Explore

Albion Online has a huge world and the different biomes have different resources, forests, swamps and mountains for example. It is best to look at the map before you head out as you can see which biome has the resources you want. So set up in a city that is close to an area that has the materials you want to gather. Do not just wander around aimlessly. Look at the map and actually make a plan of where you want to go and what you want to gather.

We cannot think of another MMORPG that is as big on gathering resources as Albion Online is. Make sure you are spending time each time you play getting the materials you need to help your progress through the game.
